I have been a leader in a range of diverse organisations across different cultures. I know the impact leaders can have in an organisation. I’m an Organisational Psychologist and have extensive experience in selecting and developing leaders. I love helping leaders grow and see them deepen their influence.

I help engineering and technical professionals who struggle with leadership and influence to confidently lead, influence, and build effective teams. Technical and specialist leaders face a range of challenges in balancing professional expertise with leading and developing teams. Sometimes they also encounter career inertia in their organisation. I help them with these challenges and become effective leaders. For first-time leaders, this might be finding and getting the most learning opportunities out of their early leadership roles. For senior leaders, it can sometimes be a lonely place to lead other managers and navigate the management-governance boundary. Then there are macro challenges in diversity and inclusion, climate change, and the transformation to circular economies.

I also mentor leaders on human capital development, HR Consulting, including EVP, Sourcing strategy, selection assessment, talent management, and organisational design.

I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Fellow of the New Zealand Psychological Society and a Distinguished Fellow of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand.
